SRA have considerable experience of advising on local travel planning and
offer a wide range of different techniques, along with advice on
fitting these to purposes and budgets. One of the company's core
beliefs is that public consultation is not a 'one-off' event,
but has to be built into the ongoing process of local transport
planning if more sustainable objectives are to be met.
This is
especially relevant to requirements for accessibility planning and
new initiatives in congestion charging. It also crucial to design
targets and performance indicators which are both achievable and
meaningful to local people.
